I don't grasp the formula for optimal cutting. I have 5" blade Alpha Numero Uno running 1200rpm on a Alpha 125 what is the S.F.P.M. ? This seems to be running to fast. Will the blade get hot and (http://maplered.com) run out? What effect will I see? Will the blade wear out prematurely? I am going to use it to make a 45 degree cross cut on a 2cm piece of Black Galaxy Stone (http://g603.net) for a small "L" shaped kitchen top. Looking for good results. DO I need a 14" saw to cut Granite (http://tanbrown.org) ? Thanks you for your reply.
